Why I Created LYLLO

The idea behind LYLLO started long before the drink itself existed.

When I was a teenager, I didn't drink alcohol. Whenever I went out with my friends, I was usually the only one who wasn't drinking, so I naturally ended up being the designated driver.

I still enjoyed those evenings. Being with my friends, going out, laughing, having fun. But I was always the one who didn't drink.

Years later, as my two daughters grew up and reached that same stage of life, I started thinking about those days again. I asked myself a simple question: why shouldn't there be another way to enjoy the same social experience without alcohol?

I imagined a drink that could become part of the evening, something that would let you relax, connect with the people around you, and feel that sense of being fully present together. An evening filled with fun, happiness and great memories. A night you could enjoy to the fullest, remember clearly, and wake up from feeling great.

A great night out, with great memories and no regrets. That's when the idea for LYLLO was born.

I didn't want to create just another soft drink. I wanted to create an entirely new social drinking experience. After more than 1,200 hours of research, experimentation and tasting, that vision finally became reality.

Meet Joy, my French bulldog and the inspiration behind the LYLLO mascot. She's a fun, happy dog, full of personality and always ready to enjoy life — and her playful spirit captures exactly what I wanted LYLLO to represent: happiness, fun and making the most of every moment.

That's why Joy became the face of LYLLO. She's more than a logo; she's a small reminder of what the brand stands for.
